At the American Airlines CR Smith Museum, your safety and well-being are our top priorities. We are committed to the following measures to ensure that your visit with us is a safe one:

• Applying best practices in cleanliness and sanitizing.
• Ensuring hand sanitizer and hand-washing stations are available to staff, volunteers and visitors.

In addition, we encourage all staff, volunteers and visitors to:

• Wear a face covering over your nose and mouth.
• Maintain social distancing between themselves and others.
• Check for symptoms regularly and stay home if they feel unwell.

Admission & Operating Hours

All visitors, including American Airlines team members, are required to secure an admission ticket from the Museum Store.

American Airlines team members and their D2s have always enjoyed free admission to the Museum. You are welcome to make a donation to support the Museum.

Operating hours:

The Museum Store will be open during the same operating hours as the Museum. Our online store is always open and ready for you.

During your visit

We kindly ask that you follow the appropriate safety precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 including:

• Wearing a face covering over your nose and mouth.
• Practicing social distancing by maintaining three feet between your group and others at all times.
• Monitoring symptoms.
• Washing/sanitizing your hands regularly.

For your convenience and safety, we have hand sanitizing stations throughout the Museum.

Exhibits

The Museum offers an engaging learning experience with a diverse range of exhibits.

Please note: we are opening our Flight Simulators whenever staffing allows. Please check status at the Gate Counter on arrival.

Safety & cleaning protocols

In preparation for your visit, we have increased our cleaning schedule and introduced enhanced safety measures.

Proactive protocols
Museum team members have been trained in proper safety protocols.

Expanded cleaning
We are following new, enhanced cleaning protocols including cleanings of high-touch areas throughout the day.

Hand sanitizing stations
We have added hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the galleries.

Face coverings
We encourage visitors wear a face covering their nose and mouth when in the Museum except for children under 2 years old.
