The On My Own Time (OMOT) Employee Art Show is a competition administered by North Texas Business for Culture and the Arts (NTBCA). Find out more at www.NTBCA.org.

American Airlines, American Eagle and American Airlines Federal Credit Union employees are eligible to participate in this annual event along with many other employers in the North Texas region. The artwork is divided into ten categories set forth by NTBCA.

This is a juried event. Judging is conducted by area arts professionals appointed by NTBCA. First, second and third place winners in each category are awarded ribbons as well as honorable mention ribbons to artists of exceptional work.

The "People's Choice" award is determined by popular vote from American Airlines, American Eagle and American Airlines Federal Credit Union employees following the guidelines set forth by NTBCA.

AA's own "Faces & Facets" award is presented to the artist whose work best conveys the spirit of American Airlines. The winners in each category is eligible to display the winning artwork at the C.R. Smith Museum from August 15 through September 13.

First Place, "Best in Show" and "People's Choice" winners participate in the regional NTBCA show. The NTBCA judges also select one entry as "Best in Show."
