Facility Rental 

The C.R. Smith Museum’s historical collection of American Airlines and airline industry memorabilia, as well as current interactive hands-on aviation displays, offer our visitors an experience that is fun as well as educational. With its Event Rental Program, the Museum provides a unique and exciting setting for private gatherings and corporate entertaining. We are able to accommodate groups of all sizes. That could range from 10 to 300 guests for a sit-down dinner and 500 people for a buffet-style reception, complete with a band!

An Event Coordinator will work with your group, from start to finish to ensure a memorable event. We’ll make certain all arrangements you need to consider including caterers, licenses, entertainment and/or any special needs are addressed in advance.

Rental Hours:
The museum is open Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-5pm; Closed Sunday and Monday.

The hours available for facility rental are during non-operational hours*:

Tuesday - Saturday 7:00am - 9:00am or 5:00pm - 12 Midnight
Sunday & Monday 7:00am - 12 Midnight

* Some daytime arrangements can be made depending on the museum schedule. Please check with the museum Event Coordinator for details.

 

Other Services:

  • Security – Any additional security requested by the Sponsor will be provided at an additional charge. The Sponsor will be advised of the additional charges in advance.
  • Custodial – Any additional custodial services needed for groups of 200 may incur additional charges to Sponsor. The museum will advise the sponsor of these charges in advance.
  • Entertainment – Most of entertainment are permissible in the Museum. Final approval must be obtained by the Event Coordinator at the Museum.

Rental Rates:

Theatre Only (2 hour minimum) *$350.00/hr
Museum Gallery & Hangar (4 hour minimum) $350.00/hr
Retail Store $100.00/hr
2-seat Simulator w/"Captain" (2 hour minimum) $75.00/hr
Administrative Fee/Membership $50.00 Non-refundable

*Projector equipment available in theater only. An additional fee will be applied.

 

  • Rates are for facility rental only. Does not include tables, chairs, catering, etc.
  • Rental time starts when set-up begins and stops when clean-up is complete/doors locked.
  • One half of the total rental is due at time contract signing. Balance is due 48 hours prior to event date.
  • Additional charges of $350 per hour will be applied should events go past the time allotment.
  • Checks should be made payable to: The C.R. Smith Museum.
  • Information on Corporate Partnerships and Museum Membership is available upon request.
