The C.R. Smith Museum’s historical collection of American Airlines and airline industry memorabilia, as well as current interactive hands-on aviation displays, offer our visitors an experience that is fun as well as educational. With its Event Rental Program, the Museum provides a unique and exciting setting for private gatherings and corporate entertaining. We are able to accommodate groups of all sizes. That could range from 10 to 300 guests for a sit-down dinner and 500 people for a buffet-style reception, complete with a band!
An Event Coordinator will work with your group, from start to finish to ensure a memorable event. We’ll make certain all arrangements you need to consider including caterers, licenses, entertainment and/or any special needs are addressed in advance.
The museum is open Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-5pm; Closed Sunday and Monday.
The hours available for facility rental are during non-operational hours*:

* Some daytime arrangements can be made depending on the museum schedule. Please check with the museum Event Coordinator for details.
- Security – Any additional security requested by the Sponsor will be provided at an additional charge. The Sponsor will be advised of the additional charges in advance.
- Custodial – Any additional custodial services needed for groups of 200 may incur additional charges to Sponsor. The museum will advise the sponsor of these charges in advance.
- Entertainment – Most of entertainment are permissible in the Museum. Final approval must be obtained by the Event Coordinator at the Museum.
